Battle Scarred Lizard - RIP

Description

Well I am going to retire my sleeping lizard mold cause nobody buys them. At my last 2 fairs I gave several away. I even found one at the thrift store, how depressing. I tried selling them at $25. then at $20 and it just went downhill. After 2 years I gave them away.
Anyhow This one is specially made to say good bye to the mold for it will be shreded into tiny pieces and recycled into a new mold. Theres a special trick to get the casting to do a double skin. But im not telling.
I must say that looking at this little guy while painting him made my heart ache. Such a cute little creature and died from his wounds. How can anybody sculpt things that show pain? I will never know. This is why I dont do horror or gore sculpture. RIP little one.

well I'll tell you the truth, since I've been watching that tiny sculpts too. I believe the price compared to the detailing in it is not good enough, at least to me.

I mean...I few weeks ago I bought a dragon calendar from Anne Stokes, and it was only £8.00 GBP (that's less than 20$US, I believe?) Now I know sculpts would be more expensive, but...i dunno, it look quite pricey...well, to me at least.

Truthfully, I think your anthro raptor model I saw long ago has higher quality than these little lizards.
