Ok remember that top secret project from a while ago? Well here it is in all its glory. This is a fossil Plaque for you to hang on the wall. Made of a super hard plaster compound and airbrushed to look like the real deal.
This sculpt is 100% anatomically correct. I strive to make my Paleo sculptures as real as I can without actually digging up the buggers and molding them lol. I wish i could get my claws on some real dinosaur bones but its either too expensive or you have to sign a ton of paperwork just to get on a dig and bring a piece home.
In any case I hope you like it
12" wide x 10.5" tall x 1/2" thick with wire embeded in the back for ease of hanging
This reminds me of something I had as a kid; it was a replica of T-Rex bones embedded in slate. I remember having to wash off a coating of silt. That was part of the "Genuine Paleontological Fun!" I guess.
As a kid, I was really into dinosaurs. Had tons of books and models. Not sure what happened with all that...

Oh, and your poet Eliot had it all wrong: THIS is the way the world ends.
I don't know how you made it, but it definetly IS special. I wondered what your assignment would be. I say you did more than an excellent job.
From my skimpy anatomy knowledge, it all looks quite fine. Nothing seems wrong. I like the tip of the snout with the nostril and the fine details around the teeth.
The second image with the flash really shows how much detail and hours of work you put into it.
I have no other option but to fav it it's just great!!!

Thank you for the kind comment and the keen eye to my details I do what I can to make things as anatomically correct as I can weather its sculpted or drawn. Thanks again
